Questions

Frequently asked

What age can my child start?

Most children are ready for private lessons around age 4–5. We tailor first lessons to attention span and personality — a trial lesson is the perfect way to find out.

Do you teach adult beginners?

Absolutely — a big part of our studio is adults, from total beginners to returning players. It's never too late.

Do you prepare students for RCM exams?

Yes. We prepare students for Royal Conservatory examinations at every level, including theory co-requisites.

Do I need a piano at home?

A full-size keyboard with weighted keys is enough to start. We're happy to advise on instruments when you're ready to upgrade.

How much do lessons cost?

Rates vary by lesson length and teacher. Contact us for current pricing — or book a trial lesson and we'll walk you through the options.
